GUIDED HORSEBACK RIDING
Enjoy the out-west atmosphere with back-east convenience for some of the finest western-style horseback riding in the area. Located just fifty miles west of the Capital Beltway, the Marriott Ranch offers a variety of horse-related activities, none more popular than our ninety-minute trail rides across parts of our beautiful 4,200-acre working cattle ranch. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, riders will enjoy themselves whether riding through pastures, across creeks and in peaceful woods.

HUNTING
DEER HUNTING PACKAGES
|
In 1951, J. Willard Marriott Sr. discovered a 4,200 acre piece of the Blue Ridge foothills, just 60 miles west of Washington D.C., which reminded him of his boyhood days on the family farm in Utah. Since then, the property always known as Fairfield has remained as calm and pristine as when it was purchased by the founder of Marriott International.
We limit the number of hunters to no more than 8 per day, each of whom can choose from over 50 designated deer stands or blinds strategically located throughout our 4,200 acres of hardwood forests, open fields, wetlands and brush cover.

YOUTH GROUP TRAIL RIDES
While the Marriott Ranch is open to the general public for guided trail rides on horseback, we also have Badge Work Programs for scout groups. We use western saddles and have a minimum age requirement of ten years. All riders required to wear helmets.
