Serves: Serves 12 Loss of a Hume Legend Today we celebrate the life of a friend, neighbor, legendary huntsman and life long Hume, Virginia resident, Melvin Poe. He has been a strong figure in our horse and fox hunting community since the 1940's.

Our thoughts are with his family and community at this difficult time. http://www.fauquier.com/news/article/melvin_poe_dies_at_age_94 This week the Marriott Ranch Staff is preparing to cater at one of oldest traditions in Virginia Horse Country.
